Quick answer
Reflex is a free browser-based reaction-time and aim-training game with three modes. React mode measures your click latency when the screen turns green over five trials and saves your lowest mean time in milliseconds. Aim mode gives you 30 seconds to click shrinking targets scoring hits × accuracy. Sequence mode asks you to tap 25 numbered dots in ascending order as fast as possible with a 1-second penalty per wrong tap. Each mode has its own personal best saved to local storage.
About the game
Reflex is three skill tests in one: a pure reaction benchmark, a 30-second aim training drill, and a sequence-tap puzzle. Each mode trains a distinct skill — raw reaction latency, click precision under pressure, and target-switching speed — that transfers directly to FPS games, RTS games, and any task that rewards fast mouse control.
Tips
- React: Wait. Really wait. Early clicks reset your trial and hurt your mean. The game randomly delays the green flash by 1.5–5 seconds specifically to punish gun-jumping.
- Aim: Prioritize speed over precision early (targets are large) and precision over speed late (targets shrink to 14 px).
- Sequence: Scan the whole board before you start. Memorizing where 1 through 5 are before clicking saves you seconds of search time.
Questions
What does each mode measure? +
React measures raw visual reaction time in milliseconds over 5 trials, averaging the results. Aim measures click accuracy and speed by counting hits on shrinking targets within a 30-second window. Sequence measures target-switching speed by timing how quickly you click 25 numbered dots in order.
What's a good React time? +
Average human visual reaction time is around 250 ms. Trained gamers typically hit 180–200 ms. Under 150 ms usually means you jumped the gun — the game catches early clicks and flags them.
Is Reflex free? +
Yes. Reflex is 100% free with no sign-up, downloads, or ads during gameplay.
Does Reflex save my progress? +
Each mode saves its own personal best to your browser's local storage. You can track your improvement across all three modes independently.
